So i have a panel in the t4 caravelle that does nothing and a waste of space.

Lets resolve this with a switch panel.

1st itteration:

Obviously didnt work and needed a more robust panel, so i changed the design to this:

Its printing as we speak, so lets wait and see how it turns out.

Well that was a success, Red filament was used because i had it in the printer. Now to make one in black with some tiny modifications. Now to print that….

Obviously i have sanded the edges a little to remove the 3d print signiture marks, then buffed a little (Could do with a little more, but this is a proof of concept). But this is 100% infill so solid plastic. Can be sanded, painted or whatever you choose to do with it and rather strong considering.

The bed of the printer leaves a nice bumpy surface which i quite like. Modern cars have that everywhere.

Putting it in the “velle” may have to wait till tomorrow now…
